Proud Moments

Team Training

A great morning of team training with Vanessa kindly offering to have an extra treatment session.

A very productive morning, working on specific advanced rehab, sharing good practise, clinical reasoning with the resultant effect of improved walking post treatment.

Latrigg Success

Wet but worth it, next stop the Dog and Gun!

Spare splinting materials were put to good use by one of our patient’s grandchildren.

Good therapy

Stroking Tari is one of my home exercises and good therapy for both of us, D.W Nottingham

Holiday success

Christine had a stroke 5 years ago which significantly affected her right side. She recently returned from a weeks holiday in spain, achieving her first swim in the sea in 5 years was fantastic. Christine normally walks with a large orthosis on her foot and is currently starting to walk in sandals. Goals set, goals achieved.

Patient News

Judith’s mobility is improving and her current goal is to be able to take Sol for a short walk…….

We will keep you posted of their progress.

Training morning breakfast

First training session of the year – great session

Ruth Sturt, one of the Physio Where You Are team has had an article published in an internationally recognised journal. Definitely a cause for celebration……. well done Ruth!

Patient News

Raymond, one of our current patients, had a stroke six years ago which left him badly disabled. He had an operation last year to release his Achilles tendon and has recently finished his third course of hydrotherapy at Derby Royal Hospital. He can now walk around the house with the aid of a stick, can climb stairs in and out of the house, and can get into and out of cars unaided.
