I qualified as a Sports Therapist and Personal Trainer in 1999 and as a Cardiac Rehab Exercise Instructor in 2001. After working closely with Royal Derby cardiac rehab and running my own community rehab business in and around Derby I joined the PWYA team in 2010. I continue to run my own community rehab classes as well as working with PWYA as a director and physiotherapy assistant.

Outside of work I have a busy family life with two teenage children and enjoy long walks with my wife especially in the Peaks. I train regularly and am a keen indoor rower.
